The 1% Club on ITV has been a hit with viewers, but one man was left fuming after watching the latest episode as a number of contestants were eliminated on a question he thought was 'easy'
A viewer of ITV 's The 1% Club has lambasted the show's contestants for failing to answer a question deemed one of the easiest in the programme's history.
The format begins with 100 participants, answering queries that 90% of the public could respond to, progressively narrowing down to the toughest 1% questions as contestants are eliminated. However, confusion arose when players couldn't determine: "What food is represented here?" from a depiction of a thermometer indicating sweltering heat with the sun and a shaggy dog pictured beside it.
It's not the first time that questions have left viewers baffled, either. Another question that left fans stunned was: "Whose mug belongs on the top shelf with the others?" The players were given four options: ALF, SUE, MEG and BEN. The four mugs were underneath a top row, which displayed HAT, LOG, OLD and ROW written on four mugs.
