A 31-year-old is facing charges in connection with the death of a pedestrian Saturday morning in Northwest Dallas, police said.
At 12:30 a.m., police responded to a call for service in the 2500 block of West Northwest Highway, where a “preliminary investigation determined” a motorist traveling north on Storey Lane hit a pedestrian before leaving the scene, police said in a news release Sunday. Police later said Juan Morgan Munoz is facing charges in the crash.Dallas-Fire Rescue officials responded and pronounced the pedestrian, who police did not identify, dead at the scene, according to the release.
