IB lanes of traffic being diverted at Chinatown feeder ramp
A shooting on the Stevenson, which shut down inbound traffic and a bad wreck just off the expressway had traffic crawling this morning.One person was injured in a crash after a car was shot at on the Stevenson Expressway on the Near South Side, Illinois State Police said.The car was riddled with bullets, but the driver was not wounded, police said.
A white Toyota Tacoma pick-up truck had its roof sheared off and the truck's doors were also ripped off. Debris from the wreck was scattered across the roadway as tow truck crews worked to clear the heavily damaged truck.Chopper7 was over the crash when at least one person was loaded into an ambulance.
ABC7 has reached out to Chicago police to get an update on the drivers' conditions. but are still awaiting more details.
