One person has died and several people were stabbed at Lake Berryessa on Saturday, authorities say.
NAPA COUNTY â One person has died and several people were injured after a fight broke out at Lake Berryessa on Saturday, authorities say. The Napa County Sheriff's Office says they started getting reports about a big fight at the Oak Shores Day Use Area around 5:30 p.m.At the scene, deputies found multiple people injured, including a man who had been shot. They described the scene as 'large' and 'chaotic.
During the investigation, detectives learned during the fight between the two groups, a man went to his vehicle and grabbed a gun. Deputies said he then shot and killed Garcia. The suspect took off from the scene after the shooting but was detained just north of the lake. Deputies said the suspect was one of the two airlifted to the hospital. When he is released from the hospital and booked into jail, the sheriff's office said it would release his identification.
