SHERIDAN, Colo. — One woman died Thursday morning in a suspected homicide, the Sheridan Police Department said in a post on the social media site X.

Officers found a woman who they said died from"an apparent gunshot wound," Sheridan police confirmed.Roy Jones, 53, was arrested in Adams County and will be charged with first-degree murder, Sheridan police said.
