After what has felt like the chilliest, wettest April ever, May is finally here with the promise of warmer weather, late spring sunshine and long, bright days. It’s the only month of the year to be bookended with bank holiday weekends, so it’s a good idea to make the most of it.
If you fancy taking part yourself, it's not too late as there are places available for the 10K with prices from £42. The half marathon has sold out, but there are still charity places available. Alternatively, cheer on the runners from the sidelines and soak up the atmosphere. Take That will be playing seven massive shows at the Co-op Live from May 7 to May 12 and June 11 and 12. The band will be supported by Olly Murs and there are still tickets available on resale on Ticketmaster here for several dates.
