Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT A core aspect of any The Legend of Zelda adventure is discovering the various mini-games scattered across the lands of Hyrule. Some offer up a simple sum of Rupees when completed, while others reward Link with vital tools and upgrades to aid him on his journey. In a series known for its puzzles and dungeons, it's easy to overlook how essential the mini-game offerings are.
9 The Digging Game A Link To The Past Close The Digging Game in A Link to the Past is a blend of chance and strategy, and a huge leap forward compared to the Money Making Game of the original Zelda. While some planning is necessary, the game is largely about luck, as prize locations are randomized with each attempt. Located south of the Village of Outcasts, the digging field is guarded and operated by the Digging Game Keeper. Once a hefty price of 80 Rupees is paid, the game can begin.
7 Dodoh’s High Dive Skyward Sword Close When it comes to death-defying stunts, look no further than Dodoh’s High Dive in Skyward Sword. Located on Fun Fun Island, the mini-game begins with Link being fired from a cannon like a human cannonball. As Link plummets from the sky in free fall, the island below him rotates like a game of Wheel of Fortune. The aim of the game is to land on a desired color to reap specific rewards.
5 STAR Game Twilight Princess Close The Clawshot is one of the most enjoyable tools in Link’s arsenal, and the STAR Game in Twilight Princess showcases exactly why. Located in one of the alleyways of Hyrule Castle Town is a circus tent run by the shady Purlo. Inside the tent is a cage-like structure with various platforms at different levels. Within a certain amount of time, Link must use the Clawshot to move from one platform to another, collecting the light orbs hovering above them.
