Bidders can win the right to own the use of the marijuana phrases on their state license plates or they can buy a novelty plate and keep the right to use that phrase in the future. Winners could also choose to resell the license plate phrase through the state’s Disability Funding Committee. Officials also want to remind Coloradans not to drive while under the influence of marijuana, according to the news release.
