Police have arrested eleven people on Friday morning in the investigation into the attempted murder of DCI John Caldwell.The nine men and two women, aged between 21 and 72, have been taken to the Serious Crime Suite in Musgrave for questioning.They were arrested in Omagh and Coalisland under the Terrorism Act.
A PSNI statement said: "Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Major Investigation Team have this morning, Friday 26 May, conducted a significant search and arrest operation in relation to the attempted murder of Detective Chief Inspector John Caldwell. "Eleven people - nine men and two women - aged between 21 and 72 years old were arrested under the Terrorism Act in Omagh and Coalisland.
