FAIRBANKS, Alaska - A string of purported generator thefts in Fairbanks has landed almost a dozen people with criminal charges in the last week.
Angel Ryan, 42, and Kelo Smoke, 48, were charged one after the other in connection to a generator reported stolen on July 28 at 1:15 a.m. on Farmers Loop Road near Farmers Loop Extension. The other seven cases appear to be separate instances in which Troopers arrested a single person per alleged theft.
