The Prince and Princess of Wales visited Southport on Thursday
Prince William and Princess Kate made a surprise visit to Southport where they met with the bereaved families of the Southport attack, hero dance teacher Leanne Lucas and the emergency responders who attended the attack in July. The visit was greeted with emotion as people shared their experiences of the tragedy.
After the discussion, they spoke to senior figures from the emergency services, with Kate leaving to continue a conversation with the responders inside. Living well mentor at the centre Lorraine Culshaw added: ''We just wanted to highlight community coming together and them coming to recognise we came together as a community in Southport and we really appreciate them coming to a community venue to have the sessions.''
