At least 120 of the 176 unclaimed cadavers of inmates at the New Bilibid Prison will be transferred to the Philippine General Hospital for autopsy, Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla said Wednesday.

In an ambush interview, Remulla said the Department of Justice and the PGH are set to have a memorandum of agreement by Thursday morning for the turnover and autopsy of the cadavers. On Monday, Eastern Funeral Homes appealed to the government to bury the bodies to ease their storage problems.
