One-time investment star Neil Woodford pocketed £9m while Craig Newman picked up £4.8m in the year to last March.
Former star stock picker Neil Woodford and his business partner took home £13.8m in dividends in the financial year prior to his fund empire's collapse, accounts filed at Companies House reveal.
The accounts covering the 12 months to the end of March showed Mr Woodford received £9m thanks to his 65% stake in Woodford Investment Management while chief executive Craig Newman picked up £4.8m.Mr Woodford's flagship equity income fund was suspended in June. The figures come at a time when at least 300,000 investors remain trapped in the fund, which is being wound up from 18 January.Woodford Investment Management is also being wound up, marking aThe 2018/19 dividend payouts covered a period when investors were leaving in droves, ultimately resulting in the crisis that led the fund's suspension.
