Bargain hunters and fashion lovers often head to high street giant TK Maxx to find dupes and discounts on designer items. One shopper has spotted a dupe for a £3,162 designer ornament at the retailer.
Taking to TikTok, @fenloninteriors shared a video showcasing the dupes. She said: “Went into TK Maxx and of course I found a new selection of Bearbricks [dupes]".The caption read: "Today's TK Maxx finds from the 'bearbrick girl'." The video goes on to show a range of TK Maxx products, including gold and silver bear ornaments, as well as a number of other animals such as a monkey and a poodle, in a similar style.
The ornaments are very similar in style to figures by Bearbrick, which were created in 2001 in the style of Japanese toy label Medicom's pre-existing range of humanoid Kubrick figurines - but sporting a bear-faced remix. They have since become highly sought-after and exclusive items. The TK Maxx ornaments are very similar in design, though they come with a much smaller price tag. While Bearbrick products can cost around £3,162 online, TK Maxx is currently selling a Gold Tone Bear Ornament for £12.99, which means shoppers can save thousands of pounds by opting for the designer dupes.
