– she walked the red carpet in leather biker boots, simple slip dresses and midriff-grazing crucifix chains. But while many actors – from Winona Ryder to Drew Barrymore – were fully embracing the dawning era of grunge, SJP only dabbled in it. Rather than limiting herself to minimalist silhouettes, she experimented with texture and colour. Case in point: the red velvet trousers, metallic gold bra, and colourful cropped beaded jacket she chose to attend the premiere ofin 1991.
