‘Despite the efforts of emergency services, one of the males, aged 17, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. ‘His family have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers. ‘Detectives believe that the motorbike may have been in close proximity to a car around the time of the collision, but that car did not stop at the scene. ‘Enquires are ongoing to locate that vehicle and its occupant and to establish whether it played any part in the collision.
