A 17-year-old girl from Branford has died after a rollover crash on Interstate 91 South in New Haven on Wednesday night, according to state police.
Osler was a passenger in a Jeep Cherokee that collided with a truck on I-91 South near exit 7 in New Haven just after 10 p.m., according to state police. "It is with a sense of profound sadness I write to share that Isabela Osler, Branford High School senior, passed away last evening. Isabela's caring and compassionate presence will be greatly missed by all those close to her. Please join me in extending sympathy and condolences to Isabela's family," Dr. Christopher Tranberg, the superintendent of schools, said in a statement.
On-call services through the Branford Counseling Center are also available over the weekend if needed. The counseling center can be reached at 203-481-4248.
