According to the Susquehanna Regional Police Department, the charges stem from an incident that occurred at approximately 10:18 p.m. on March 19. An officer was patrolling the Marietta Boat Access area, which is closed to the public after dark, when the officer noticed a silver sedan with four males inside.
When the officer approached the car, one of the males allegedly got out of the car and ran into the woods.Fifteen minutes later, an officer from another department spotted a male walking on the NW River Trail and tried to stop him.Police say they used a drone to find the suspect climbing up the side of Chickies mountain below Breezyview Overlook Park.
