Two suspects were arrested Tuesday in connection with four deadly overnight shootings that happened within miles of each other in southeast Los Angeles County Sunday night and into Monday morning.The four shootings took place within a few hours of each other in Bell, Florence-Firestone, Cudahy and Huntington Park. A Los Angeles Sheriff's Department spokesperson announced the arrest of two suspects Tuesday morning, saying they believe there may also be a third suspect.
The second shooting was reported off East Florence Avenue at about 12:08 a.m. Monday, about 3 miles away from the Bell crime scene. Deputies said they found the victim and he was later declared dead by paramedics. Nearly 10 minutes later and about 4 miles away, another set of fatal shootings occurred outside the Ellen Ochoa Learning Center in Cudahy. Deputies discovered two teens with gunshot wounds. Paramedics treated both of the boys on the street. One of them, 14-year-old Javier Pedraza Jr.
