Police continue to investigate a double fatal shooting Monday night in Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood.
Another victim was located a short distance away, also suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died."I thought there was a gunfight," said Luke Overshiner, who heard the shooting."It just makes me worried about my son, who's 8, and I'd like to have a safe neighborhood."
Both victims have since been identified as Christian Green, 32, of New Bedford, and Jose M. Martinez, 34, of Boston.By Tuesday morning, the area remained a crime scene as investigators continued to search for clues hours before students arrived to class.Hours after students were in class, investigators were called back to the scene when a shell casing was discovered by a tree and a vehicle next to it was scarred with a bullet hole.
