Two men listed as wanted persons were arrested during the Southern Police District (SPD) Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) in Pasay City on Monday, June 5. ManilaBulletin

Members of the Warrant and Subpoena Section conducted a manhunt operation against wanted persons leading to the arrest of Jonathan Abig, 32, alias “Baba”, at around 12 p.m. on F. Cruz St. in Barangay 171, Pasay City.

Col. Froilan Uy, city police chief, said Abig was placed as Top 8 wanted person for possession of illegal drugs. Uy said Abig was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Edilwasif Tapsiri Baddiri of Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 115 last April 23, with a recommended bail of P200,000.

The city police chief said members of the Police Sub-Station 1 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex served the warrant of arrest against Brent Carl Bernarte for qualified theft at around 11 a.m. Uy said Bernarte was arrested based on a warrant issued by Judge Elenita Carlo Dimaguila of Pasay Regional Trial Court Branch 298 last May 30, with recommended bail of P40,000.
