In an email to parents at the district Thursday, school officials said they learned of “an online document” with a “watch list” that included 32 people — 25 students and seven staff members — at Truett Wilson Middle School.At least two Northwest ISD students were arrested and are accused of being involved in a plan to attack middle schoolers and staffers at the district, school officials say.
Two students have been arrested, school officials said, adding that they are facing felony charges. Students who were “involved in the document” but were not arrested will be disciplined in accordance with the district’s student handbook and code of conduct, officials said.Pending an investigation, it is the district’s practice to give three days of out-of-school suspension to students “for allegations of engaging in serious misconduct, such as terroristic threats,” district officials said.
