What a day!
St Patrick’s Day
on Friday, March 17, in Nottingham city centre. Old Market Square was full of busy scenes as crowds gathered for a day full of dressing up, Irish dancing, music and drinking plenty of Guinness. As everybody celebrated it wasn’t hard to spot a leprechaun hat or the flag of Ireland amongst the crowds in the city centre. Thehosted a range of performances, from Irish dancers to live bands throughout the day.

Let us know in our pollThe joyful crowd in Old Market Square saw Louie Walsh Band perform at 11.30am on the Elaine Marren memorial stage. Then as more people gathered to celebrate, at 1pm the event officially opened and the crowds saw a line-up of performances throughout the day.
