A group of 20 Democratic governors met with President Biden at the White House on Wednesday and emerged from the meeting expressing full support for the President in the upcoming election.Governors Gavin Newsom of California, Kathy Hochul of New York, Tim Walz of Minnesota, J.B. Pritzker of Illinois, Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, and Wes Moore of Maryland were among those who attended the meeting.
Biden and his aides have attributed his June 27 debate performance to factors including a cold and jet lag, but Axios' Hans Nichols reports some... "We were honest about the feedback that we were getting," Maryland Governor Wes Moore told reporters after the meeting at the White House.
