Former Watford players and potential Hornets stars of the future were among 200 people to take part in a fundraising walk named in memory of the club’s greatest ever manager.
With the sun smiling down on Vicarage Road, this year’s Taylor Trek took place on Sunday, October 15 to raise money for Watford’s Community Sports & Education Trust. The walk, sponsored by local accountancy firm Mercer & Hole, took participants on an inspiring journey through the key sites of Graham Taylor’s Hornets history including St Mary’s Church, Watford Museum, the High Street, Town Hall, the Colosseum and Cassiobury Park.The trekkers included a number of familiar faces – the club's Academy Director Richard Johnson, Head of Technical Development Jimmy Gilligan and coaches Charlie Daniels and Tom Cleverley who all walked the 3.
