Dozens of people gathered on the steps of the Alabama Capitol Thursday to take part in the National Day of Prayer, held annually on the first Thursday of May, as designated by Congress.
MONTGOMERY , Ala. - “Let us take a moment to lift up our Alabama families, our nation’s leaders and all those facing adversity around the globe.”
The day of prayer kicked off off with the Montgomery Prayer Breakfast, hosted by His Vessel Ministries. The annual breakfast, held at the RSA Activity Center in Montgomery, brings together officials and civilians to pray for the authorities of Montgomery and the state of Alabama.
