0-liter inline-six, combined with a lithium-ion battery and an electric motor integrated into the eight-speed automatic transmission. The system is good for a total of 483 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque, with a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds. While the EPA hasn?t yet published official fuel economy figures, BMW says it gets 58 miles-per-gallon equivalent when the battery is charged. Electric-only driving range is 40 miles.
