Pricing for the 2025 Mazda CX-5 starts at $28,570
Mazda has announced pricing for the 2025 CX-5 will start at $28,570. That’s $730 less than last year’s model as Mazda has brought back the entry-level 2.5 S trim. Additional changes are limited, but some models gain equipment while the 2.5 S Premium trim has been dropped. Mazda introduced the 2025 CX-50 earlier this month and now the company is following up with the CX-5. While the changes aren’t too dramatic, Mazda focused on value and lowered the price of entry.
The model also has Blind Spot Monitoring and Lane Keep Assist. Power is provided by a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine developing 187 hp and 186 lb-ft of torque. It’s connected to a six-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system. This setup enables the crossover to return 26 mpg city, 30 mpg highway, and 28 mpg combined. Additional changes are limited, but the CX-5 2.
