The new Mini Cooper Convertible – technically a revised version of the previous third-generation model – will land here in 2025 with a choice of three different powertrains and seven versions in total. The new drop-top range is due here during the second quarter of 2025, with pricing ranging from $51,990 before on-roads for the base Cooper C Classic and spanning to $67,990 for the John Cooper Works Favoured.
The woven fabric soft top is available in black with the option of a grey Union Jack, a not-so-subtle nod to the brand’s British origins. Surprisingly, Mini claims the convertible Cooper offers superior boot space to the hatch – 215L vs 210L – although cargo capacity drops to 160L when the car is driven top down. Pricing Drivetrains and Efficiency Mini Australia has yet to confirm fuel consumption figures.
