Toyota is yet to announce pricing details for the updated model but it will likely carry a small premium
Like the GR Yaris, the bigger GR Corolla is now sold with six-speed manual and eight-speed auto transmissions. Toyota engineers have also modified the 1.6-liter, lifting torque from 273 lb-ft to 295 lb-ft. Optimizes have also been made to improve cooling and handling. We knew it was coming, and here it is; the updated 2025 Toyota GR Corolla.
Other upgrades have been made to boost performance. The most obvious is an increase of torque from 273 lb-ft to 295 lb-ft , while the same 300 hp has been retained from the highly-strung 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder. A Launch Control system is also standard on DAT models, although Toyota hasn’t said how quickly it can hit 60 mph . Toyota’s engineers have optimized the handling of the hatch, too.
