Maison Margiela's white & gold single tag earring looks like two yellow gold hoops which are still in their white cardboard packaging.At first glance, it looks like a pair of gold hoops which are still in their packagingBut that 'cardboard' is actually white calfskin - which is very much part of the design.
The single earring gold hoops went viral after a confused shopper tweeted a photo - which has racked up 512,000 likes and 115,000 retweets. The London-based lass wrote: "*online shopping* Oo this would be a nice basic set of earrings. *swipes through photos* wait what".
