The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has dispatched 23 million physical versions of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) identification cards, PhilSys Registry Division officer-in-charge Marc Laurente said Wednesday.

According to PhilSys Registry Division officer-in-charge Marc Laurente, the PSA has also produced 30.3 million ID cards.

“From our facilities na gumagawa ng card, we were able to produce 30.3 million already and were able to deliver through our courier sa PhilPost po na 23 million na ID cards,” he said during the public briefing.According to Laurente, a total of 76.2 million Filipinos have also completed step 2 of the registration.
