Viewers were left shocked by the incident, in which the man had to be physically restrained by security workers
A security guard at Queen's Medical Centre had to manage a violent incident with a patient during the latest episode of 24 Hours in A&E. The Channel 4 show saw the security team handle an aggressive patient, which is not one of the usual incidents viewers are used to seeing on the show.
Adding: "In the hospital we are family and when things happen we're here to help each other." However, it's not long until calls start coming in, with the first incident viewers are introduced to is a man falling from a horse.Jack is rushed to hospital after he fell backwards off a 17-hand high horse when it reared up, the horse then rolled over him and left him with injuries and pain across his body.
He explained: "You have to deal with a lot of trauma, and mental health and violence. You have to be kind and gentle. As he could be seen making his way outside, he could be heard in a voiceover stating: "When you get called to an emergency you're wondering what happened. You have to approach the situation with care, you don't know what to expect when you go there."
