Sophie-Lee Fullagar , 24, has been identified as one of four people killed in a ute crash last Saturday morning. She died at the scene along with three others — a male driver, a male passenger, and another female passenger — when the blue Mazda BT50 utility left Back Channel Rd, Wardell and rolled just after 5.45am. Tributes have flowed for the young woman who grew up locally in the Northern Rivers. “There was a tragic car accident at Wardell last weekend that claimed four lives.
One of them was 24-year-old Sophie-Lee Fullagar,” one person shared on Facebook. “Sophie spent a good part of her childhood in Main Arm and her mother, step-father and grandparents are well-loved, long-time locals. “She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, kind heart and lovely singing voice. “We extend our deep condolences to Sophie’s family and friends.” The close-knit community were said to be “suffering with the ripple effect” created by the loss. “Sophie had the sweetest nature, the biggest heart and was so strong,” according to a GoFundMe raising money for her grieving family
