Law enforcement in Fort Yukon stopped a boat with three occupants from Canada who entered the country illegally while in possession of firearms and narcotics.
FastCast digital headlines for Saturday, June 1, 2024FORT YUKON, Alaska - Three people from Canada were taken into custody Friday after reports that one of them had sold drugs in a Yukon community that resulted in an overdose.
The three occupants were identified only as a 41-year-old, a 50-year-old and a 24-year-old. The river they traveled on was not identified by troopers, however the Porcupine River runs between the two towns.
