The wreck happened about 5 p.m. Wednesday in the 2500 block of Alabama 119, said Shelby County Coroner Lina Evans.

Killed were two men and one woman. Two of the fatality victims were in one vehicle, and the third was in the other.Two have the victims have been identified as Patricia McCormick, 77, of Montevallo, and her son, 60-year-old Felton Seals.

Evans said McCormick crossed the center line during what is believed to be a medical issue, striking the other vehicle.
