Nadakip na ang tatlong lalaki na sangkot sa nag-viral na video na nahuli-cam ang pagpatay at pagkaladkad pa sa isang aso sa Iligan City, Lanao del Norte.
Sa pahayag ng Police Regional Office 10, sinabing pawang residente ng lungsod ang tatlong lalaki na mahaharap sa reklamong paglabag sa Animal Welfare Act.
Sa nag-viral na video sa social media, makikita na ilang beses hinampas ng mga suspek ang aso sa gilid ng kalsada sa Barangay San Miguel.Sa imbestigasyon ng pulisya, idinahilan umano ng mga suspek na agresibo ang aso kaya pinatay nila.Paalala ni Police BGen. Ricardo Layug, Jr., Regional Director, PRO10, sa publiko na dapat isumbong sa kinauukulan kapag may insidente tungkol sa agresibong hayop.
“We take any violation of the Animal Welfare Act very seriously. Any forms of animal abuse and cruelty will not be tolerated, and perpetrators will be held accountable for their actions," ayon sa opisyal. --FRJ, GMA Integrated News
