Three women died while a man was wounded when they were shot by their neighbor in Barangay 10, Caloocan City on Wednesday evening, Feb. 15.

The Caloocan City Police Station identified the fatalities as Lourme Orbe, 72; Angelica Orbe, 39; and Mary Jane Abary; 48, all residents of Barangay 10.Initial police investigation showed that the three members of the Orbe family were shot by the suspect, William Jaymee Sy, 46, outside their house at the corner of Gen. Luna and 5th Streets at around 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday.

Col. Ruben Lacuesta, CCPS chief, said Abary, who was just passing by the area, was also shot by the suspect. Lourne and Angelica died on the spot, while Abary was declared dead on arrival at Caloocan City Medical Center.The suspect was immediately arrested by responding CCPS personnel. Authorities recovered from the suspect one Glock 17 9mm pistol, a revolver, a shotgun with eight bullets, an ammunition box, a folding knife, and two cellphones.
