The Philippine government so far assisted 309 Filipinos in Ukraine amid the invasion by Russia, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) reported.

In a tweet, Foreign Affairs Undersecretary for Migrant Workers' Affairs Sarah Lou Arriola reported that 150 Filipinos were repatriated as of March 11, while 159 were evacuated or were already out of Ukraine.ordered the mandatory evacuation of all Filipinos"Due to the rapidly deteriorating security situation in Ukraine, the Department of Foreign Affairs raised the crisis alert level for all areas in Ukraine to Alert Level 4 ," a DFA advisory read.

Under a Crisis Alert Level 4, Filipinos were obliged to evacuate the country, with the Philippine government providing for their repatriation expenses.
