Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval and Senate President Pro Tempore Loren Legarda distributed financial assistance to around 330 families in crisis situations at the Barangay Potrero Covered Court, in the city on Monday, Feb. 20.

The Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation of the Department of Social Welfare and Development aims to provide families that are victims of flood, fire, and other incidents with financial/material assistance for their various needs such as food, transportation, and burial.

“Sa pamamagitan ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation o AICS ay nakakatulong tayo sa mga pangangailangan ng mga indibidwal at pamilya sa ating lungsod na nakakaranas ng mga hamon sa buhay ,” she added.
