The National Trust for Scotland has revealed that it will be hosting special Easter eggs trails throughout the country this month, from the Borders to the Highlands.

The trail at each destination is different, and visitors are welcome to try as many as they want, with trail sheets being priced at £4. Each trail will teach guests about the history and stories of the property as they explore for eggs.View gallery At the end of the trails, participants will be rewarded with allergen-free chocolate eggs made by Moo Free.
"Visitors can take in the beautiful spring colours and immerse themselves in nature during the trails, where they can flex their puzzle-solving skills by following clues to earn a delicious Easter treat, the perfect activity to keep youngsters entertained during the school holidays. Most of our Easter egg trails can be booked in advance, with each trail costing £4 with accompanying adults going free.
