A 3D simulation pitted Kylian Mbappe , one of the fastest footballers around, up against Team USA's Sha'Carri Richardson, in a 100m race.The France international's lightning quick turn of pace is among his most impressive qualities and one that has captured the attention of the world's fastest man Usain Bolt, who branded him "very fast".And another YouTuber has followed suit by putting Mbappe up against one of the current sprinting stars.
Richardson became one of the fastest women in history aged just 19, running 100 metres in 10.75 seconds to break the record at the NCAA Division I Championships.She won two gold medals at the World Championships in Budapest in 2023 before claiming one silver and one gold in her Olympic track debut in Paris in the summer.To give Mbappe's 100m time, the YouTuber used four different methods for the calculation and it averaged out at 10.81 seconds.
The two were neck and neck in the early stages after the gun sounded but then the 24-year-old pulled away and claimed the victory with a time of 10.65 seconds. A POV camera showed the sheer pace on display, while a second experiment saw Mbappe get a headstart but still fall short to the speed demon Richardson.
