Four in ten Brits feel ‘eco-shamed’ by pals for lack of green habits, says survey after damning climate change report
A third of Brits would be more motivated to be sustainable if discussions about the topic were more positive, after almost a quarter have been ‘eco-shamed’ by others for their lack of green habits.
The research was commissioned by renewable electricity provider E.ON Next, which has launched its Positive Speaker Series to encourage people to feel more positive when it comes to sustainability. “We also found that three quarters of those asked agree that a positive mindset can promote lasting change.
It also emerged that one in 10 of those who were eco-shamed admit that it didn’t make them change their ways.
