Police responded to a cul-de-sac in the south suburbs Sunday for a shooting. Three gunshot victims were found at the scene, and a fourth victim was later found inside a vehicle with a person who police arrested.

The shooting happened in the 5500 block of Babette Court in Oak Forest, police said. Three people who were shot were found at the scene, and a fourth victim was later found inside a vehicle with a person who police arrested. Two of the three gunshot victims at the scene had life-threatening injuries, police said. They were both taken to a local hospital in critical condition.A large police presence could be seen near the cul-de-sac.
After the shooting, police located a vehicle that was possibly related to the shooting, in the 5900 block of 159th Street. An occupant in the vehicle also had a gunshot wound. The other occupant of the vehicle was arrested, Oak Forest police said.No further information about the shooting was immediately available. Police continue to investigate.Copyright © 2024 WLS-TV.
