“On scene, officers located four individuals that were shot. All four victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment,” Chesterfield Police said.None of the victims are students, according to police. On Wednesday afternoon, police confirmed two men, identified as Xavier J. Gordon, 21 and Clyde D. White, Jr., 21, were taken into custody in connection to the shooting.
Police also confirmed neither Gordon nor White were enrolled at the university, and it appears the shooting was an isolated incident.Police say there is no threat to the campus community. Classes are expected to start Monday.
