The Colombo National Hospital Director confirmed that at least 20 had been killed and 280 were injured in the sickening attacks, Reuters reported. Buildings in the surrounding area shook with the blast according to witnesses who saw a number of injured people carried in ambulances. Sources from two of the hotels in Colombo have confirmed the explosions but did not give any details, according to Reuters.St. Sebastian's church at Katuwapitiya in Negombo posted pictures of destruction inside the church on its Facebook page, showing blood on pews and the floor.
