This is the second fire to happen at the lot, after 58 vehicles were involved last Christmas Eve.
DENTON COUNTY, Texas — Dozens of vehicles were involved in a fire early Sunday morning at a Denton County auction lot, officials say. 3700 block of McPherson Drive near JustinUpon arrival, officials say they found between 20 and 30 vehicles involved at the lot. Firefighters were also dispatched from departments in Flower Mound, Justin, Roanoke and Ponder.
The fire was under control by 4:57 a.m., officials say. In total, 45 vehicles were involved in the fire. Officials say the Denton County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the incident. Officials said on Monday there is no indication of arson at this time, but the cause of the fire has yet to be determined.a fire last Christmas EveIAA Holdings owns the facility, about a mile away from Texas Motor Speedway. The company auctions low-value and totaled vehicles for salvage.
