Could the Pittsburgh Steelers still land Brandon Aiyuk? Kyle Shanahan says nothing has changed.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan discussed the Aiyuk situation on v, and it seems the situation remains at a standstill. Aiyuk and the 49ers have not made much progress on the extension. In other words, expect the Steelers and 49ers to continue this waiting game. The 49ers have no rush to trade Aiyuk, and if things get dicier closer to the season, perhaps Aiyuk gets moved.are just ‘one hurdle’ away from a deal, but it is unknown what the hurdle for a new contract would be on Aiyuk’s end. Yet, the Steelers are waiting to hear back from the 49ers about Aiyuk’s status.
