Leeds United have lost two key players in Archie Gray and Crysencio Summerville in the summer transfer window
The focus needs to be on incomings rather than outgoings for Leeds United between now and the end of the transfer window. Boss Daniel Farke lost another key player over the weekend as he prepares for his second season in charge at Elland Road, with Crysencio Summerville joining West Ham United for a fee of £25m plus add-ons.
“It was pretty inevitable that Summerville was going to leave. It’s not anything that has come out of the blue, having been talked about for many weeks," Robinson told MOT Leeds News. "He was the Championship Player of the Season.“Leeds’ financial situation has been discussed quite openly by the ownership, with Archie Gray being sold for a big fee. It was inevitable that Summerville was going to leave the club for the right fee and right move.
“Also, once you’ve sold him for that fee, you look at the futures of others. With Rutter and Gnonto, the club may not have to be held to ransom.”
