Four-wheel driving YouTube celebrity Andrew St Pierre White claims Tasmania's Parks and Wildlife Service has effectively locked out his ilk, while authorities make no apology for being strict on how sensitive areas are promoted.
Andrew St Pierre White is a big name among four-wheel driving enthusiasts, and the latest influencer to take aim at Tasmania's rules for filming on public land.
In an interview with Mr St Pierre White, Mr Fisher said he only found out about Tasmania's rules for content creation 14 days before his one-week trip to the state. "There's areas where we say it's better to have promotion, where you've got the infrastructure to service and support that. "Every application can be different and that includes the locations where they might want to undertake their business," he said.He said drones, used commonly by YouTubers, can affect threatened species like nesting raptors.
